Important Guidelines & Fee Payment Details
- Payment Method: Parks fees are payable directly to the ZimParks official upon arrival at the harbour prior to departure. All payments must be made in USD Cash.
- Bring Small USD Denominations: Parks officials frequently do not have change. Please bring exact or low-denomination banknotes ($1, $5, $10, $20) in crisp, undamaged condition.
- Pre-Payment Option: If you prefer, we can collect your details and arrange to pre-pay these fees on your behalf prior to embarkation so you can board without delay.
- Identification Required: All guests claiming Zimbabwean Resident or SADC status must present valid passports, national IDs, or residency permits to Parks officials upon request.
- Parks Inspection: ZimParks rangers conduct periodic patrols on Lake Kariba and may board the houseboat at any time to verify receipts.
